Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.
One of these redevelopments was the demolition of the former lodge house to St. Michael's Abbey on the Farnborough Road. The lodge, which sat adjacent to the road leading up to the Abbey is now the site of the Abbey House office block.
Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of St. Michael's Abbey lodge house to feature here. If you have a photo of this location that you'd like to share with Historic Farnborough please either use our submission facility or contact us. Once we have a historic photo to share this location will be added to the virtual tour of historic Farnborough.
