You've made it to the Alma Inn in Cove, formerly situated next door to the Old Courthouse pub, but now gone to make way for the pub's car park. Images 1 and 2 show The Anchor public house to the left of the Alma and images 3 and 4 show The Court House, formerly The Anchor.
Where to now? To the East is the former site of Cove Pond, Instone's Garage, the Queens Head, the Solartron factory, Victoria Road Chapel and Victoria Road joining Cove with the centre of Farnborough. Away to the West is Silvester's Sweet shop, Elmsleigh Road, West Heath Corner, Fleet Road, Cove Junior School, Cove Court, the former sites of Cove Radio Station, Southwood House and Southwood camp, with the Thatched Cottage pub and the former Oaks school to the North and Fowler Road to the South. For the full list of locations nearby, pick where you want to go next from the menu on the right.
Take a look at images 1-4 for an authentic 'now and then' comparison.
