Gone but not forgotten - Beeching's Garage

Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.

One of these redevelopments saw Beeching's Garage on the Farnborough Road, close to the former Rex Cinema, make way for developments as part of the Kingsmead shopping centre development.

Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of Beeching's Garage to feature here. If you have a photo of this location that you'd like to share with Historic Farnborough please either use our submission facility or contact us. Once we have a historic photo to share this location will be added to the virtual tour of historic Farnborough.
