Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.
One of these redevelopments saw the former Fish Pond Farm in the centre of Farnborough disappear. The farmhouse was situated where the first set of Pinehurst Cottages adjacent to Meudon Avenue now stand, with the fish pond itself being sited to the left of the current entrance to Rushmoor Borough Council.
Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of Fish Pond Farm to feature here. If you have a photo of this location that you'd like to share with Historic Farnborough please either use our submission facility or contact us. Once we have a historic photo to share this location will be added to the virtual tour of historic Farnborough.
