Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.
One of these redevelopments saw the former Forest Lodge which was just North of the Hillside Convent School and East of Farnborough Road demolished in 1926. Forest Lodge was in the area that former part of the former Pinehurst Barracks and the site is now occupied by the premises of Rushmoor Borough Council.
Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of Forest Lodge to feature here. If you have a photo of this location that you'd like to share with Historic Farnborough please either use our submission facility or contact us. Once we have a historic photo to share this location will be added to the virtual tour of historic Farnborough.
