Farnborough Gallery - Postcard messages from the past
The history of Farnborough is not just based around buildings and locations, but also the people and events that have taken place. And one thing we all remember is adverse weather conditions, whether it's wind, rain, snow or a heatwave. The images in this gallery remind us of some of the events that Farnborough has played host to over the years.
In this unique gallery you can get an insight into the lives of people who were either living in, passing through, or had some connection with Farnborough. Compared to today, postcards seemed to have been used in the same way as we use SMS text messaging today to send short messages to family, friends and loved ones.
