Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.
One of these redevelopments was the eventual demise of the Marlborough Lines Garrison Church in Evelyn Wood Road. Supporting the local military community based in the surrounding barracks the wooden church was lost as the camps redeveloped and dwindled over the years.
Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of Marlborough Lines Garrison Church to feature here. If you have a photo of this location that you'd like to share with Historic Farnborough please either use our submission facility or contact us. Once we have a historic photo to share this location will be added to the virtual tour of historic Farnborough.
