Gone but not forgotten - West Heath Farm

Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.

One of these redevelopments saw the end of West Heath Farm, one of the many farms that once occupied areas of Farnborough and Cove. West Heath Farm was situated roughly in the area now occupied by Blunden Road, behind where the current West Heath Road runs. The farm was once owned by Jim Blunden.

Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of West Heath Farm to feature here.
