New Local History Book
Knellwood Residential Home is Farnborough’s War Memorial to local people who gave their lives in the Second World War. The Home celebrates its 60th Anniverary this year and to commemorate the occasion Local Historian Jo Gosney has written a history of the house from its construction in the mid 1860’s to the present day.
Entitled The History of Knellwood, it reveals a fascinating story about the lives and activities of some of the former military occupants as well as charting the progress of the Residential Home from its inception in 1947.
