Virtual Tour - Lynchford Road

You've made it to the Lynchford Road, previously one of the busiest shopping streets in Farnborough before the construction of Queensmead and Kingsmead in the 50s and 60s.

Where to now? To the East are Peabody Road, North Camp station, Camp Road and Park Road. To the West is the former Institute of Aviation Medicine, Farnborough Road and Alexandra Road, the Wesleyan Church and the Wesleyan Soldier's home, with the impressive Queens Hotel, Cockadobby Hill monument and the former site of Common Lane and the RFC Barracks also close by. To the South is Queens Avenue, the main route into Aldershot, the Camp Brigade School, the former sites of the North Camp fire station, Duke of Connaught's Road, Blenheim Barracks, Malplaquet Barracks, Oudenarde Barracks, Tournay Barracks and Lille Barracks, and Redvers Buller Road. For the full list of locations nearby, pick where you want to go next from the menu on the right.
