Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.
One of these redevelopments saw the demise of Meadowview Nurseries close to The Tumbledown Dick and behind the Queensmead shoppoing complex. The nurseries finally disappeared when the Kingsmead complex was built on the land.
