Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.
One of these redevelopments saw the the former Saw Mill in Cove disappear. The Saw Mill was sited behind the Plough and Horses pub, approximately in the area now occupied by Rosemary Gardens and was still in use and marked on maps from the early 1930s.
Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of the Saw Mill to feature here. If you have a photo of this location that you'd like to share with Historic Farnborough please either use our submission facility or contact us. Once we have a historic photo to share this location will be added to the virtual tour of historic Farnborough.
