Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.
One of these redevelopments saw the former lodge house to the Oaks school demolished to make way for the Catholic Our Lady and St. Dominic church. The Oaks school was demolised in 1967.
Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of the lodge house Oaks school to feature here. If you have a photo of this location that you'd like to share with Historic Farnborough please either use our submission facility or contact us. Once we have a historic photo to share this location will be added to the virtual tour of historic Farnborough.
