Virtual Tour - Old Town Hall

You've made it to Ferneberga House, the site of the old Town Hall on Alexandra Road before it was moved to its current location following local government reorganisation in 1974. More recently the building fell into a state of disrepair and was boarded up, but is now home to business premises.

Where to now? Opposite on the edge of Reading Road is the impressive St. Mark's Church with Alexandra Road running in both directions and Peabody Road nearby to the East. The busy Farnborough Road lies just to the West with the Swan Inn and former site of the RAE in close proximity. Also close by is the Farnborough and Cove War Memorial Hospital in Albert Road. Pick where you want to go next from the menu on the right.
Quick tip Take a look at images 1-8 and 12-13 and 16 for authentic 'now and then' comparisons.
