Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.
One of these redevelopments saw the building of Tredenham Close off Winchester Street on the site of the former Tredenham House Hotel which had been built by Colonel Tredenham Fitzherbert Carlyon, and who is buried in the Victoria Road cemetery.
Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of Oak Farm house to feature here. If you have a photo of this location that you'd like to share with Historic Farnborough please either use our submission facility or contact us. Once we have a historic photo to share this location will be added to the virtual tour of historic Farnborough.
