Virtual Tour - The Tumbledown Dick

You've made it to the Tumbledown Dick on Farnborough Road, an inn has been based on this spot since the 18th Century. Early in 2009 the pub still remains boarded up with its future uncertain.

On 15th May 1861, the Tumble Down Dick Inn was the site of a large auction of local farmland, dwelling places and cottages. Click to read the full details.

Where to now? Running North and South is the busy Farnborough Road. Not far from the inn is the former Rex Cinema, the Clockhouse and the former site of Brands Removals store, with the former site of Pinehurst Corner and Oak Road nearby to the South.
