Over the years more than 100 different locations in Farnborough have either been demolished or redeveloped for various reasons, taking away a little part of the town's history in the process.
One of these redevelopments was the demolition of Wymering Lodge which was located next to the Sycamores residence. Today this area has been redeveloped and is now the site of Hilder Gardens and The Sycamores road in South Farnborough.
Currently we are trying to source an old photograph of the Sycamores to feature here. If you have a photo of this location that you'd like to share with Historic Farnborough please either use our submission facility or contact us. Once we have a historic photo to share this location will be added to the virtual tour of historic Farnborough.
